Common onboarding questions
A small service fee per transaction — typically 2.9% for personal Visa and Mastercard payments. Partner bank cards (Avida, Ikano, LF Finans) get reduced rates starting from 0%. No monthly subscription, no hidden fees.
Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Diners Club — both debit and credit cards. EU-issued cards are fully supported. Some partner banks offer discounted transaction fees.

Yes. Betalo AB is a licensed payment institution supervised by Finansinspektionen (the Swedish Financial Supervisory Authority). Every transaction is secured with BankID verification and industry-standard encryption.
Absolutely. Betalo Business is available for sole proprietors and self-employed individuals. Corporate card fees range from 2.89% to 3.9% depending on your card type, with a 15% Mastercard corporate discount.
Open the app, tap "Send Money," enter the recipient's Swedish bank account number, choose the amount, and confirm with your card. The transfer is processed immediately.
